Social Media Challenges and Your Involvement
We have been developing multiple initiatives and social media challenges to empower the Lighting Police Community to participate and spread the word with their communities.
A collaborative night walk through Madrid’s urban lightscape
The Lighting Police joined forces with APDI during Semana Internacional de la Arquitectura 2025 in Madrid to host an engaging Night Walk for architects and students.
Through short educational talks and a guided exploration of the city, participants discovered how light shapes our perception, safety, and urban identity.
The activity sparked meaningful dialogue on good and bad lighting practices while celebrating curiosity and collaboration.
The evening concluded with reflections, shared sketches, and a creative game, reminding everyone that light connects us all.
Illuminating the Senses: A Holistic Approach to Human-Centric Design" (April 30th, 2025)
The Lighting Police hosted an inspiring multi-sensory event at Hoare Lea London, exploring how light, sound, air, and technology influence the way we feel, work, and live.
Under one roof, neuroscience met daylight, artificial lighting, acoustics, and smart systems, revealing new connections between design and wellbeing.
Five expert speakers shared thought-provoking insights on circadian rhythms, workplace comfort, and sustainable innovation.
The session, supported by Helvar, highlighted how integrated design can enhance both performance and human experience.
The mission continues, the conversation gets louder, and the lighting gets smarter. 🌍💡
